Saffron Walden beach party 2022

We were excited to be invited to put our spin on the re-creation of an Ibzia-inspired beach party. This was a private party to ‘welcome the beginning of summer’. We did this by bringing the beach to Cambridgeshire and shipped in one tonne of sand to sink the guests’ toes into, while elements of boho chic added a touch of extra styling.

We installed a stretch tent over a custom-built whitewashed deck floor that was big enough for a party of over 240 guests. Pampas grasses and palms were creatively lit which spectacularly surrounded the servings of canapes, cocktails and champagne. On the horizon, we lit up an island in the middle of the lake which elevated the atmosphere.

The guests were entertained by stilt walkers, fire eaters, giant inflatable games, funfair stalls and glitter artists, all engulfed by 10-piece show band and a few different DJ sets. Once the sun set the guests hit the dancefloor and were truly dazzled all night long.
