The Event Technology Group (TETG) is one of the UK Leading Technical Event Production Companies, based in Bracknell with offices in London and Manchester. We deliver over 500 events per year in the UK and overseas for some of the biggest brands in the world ranging from Coco Cola, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, L’Oréal, ITV, Disney and London Fashion Week to name a few. We also deliver Exhibitions, Conferences, AGM’s for some of the FSTE 500 corporate clients as well as private parties for some of the world’s richest families.

The Group consists of 5 different business units; Visions, Fisher Productions, Dobson Sound, Aker Live and Set.Build.Create each stepped in event history covering everything from Event Production, Technical AV delivery, staging, Sound, set build and design.

This role gives you the opportunity to be a part of both our hybrid / virtual and physical event delivery. If you have experience in Lighting, audio and AV this could suit you well.

Duties:

  • Handling of technical enquiries.
  • Site / Client / Account manager meetings and visits.
  • Managing full the technical requirements and costing.
  • Producing client documentation, technical lists and dry hire requests.
  • Liaising with the team over equipment/crew/engineers/travel.
  • Putting together CDM / H&S documents.
  • Onsite management where required.
  • Building and maintaining client relationships to encourage repeat business.
  • Follow up meetings with clients / account managers for debrief.

Essential Skills

  • A good technical knowledge of lighting, sound and AV disciplines.
  • Previous experience in the technical side of production.
  • Professionalism and commitment to the events industry.
  • Good working knowledge of CAD, Sketchup or WYSIWYG.
  • Confident and professional approach when dealing with clients and colleagues.
  • Able to work under pressure and multitask particularly during the peak seasons.
  • Broad and detailed knowledge of production solutions.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Always striving for perfection in your work.
  • Calm under pressure, a lot of work has tight deadlines.
  • Good time management.
  • Self-motivated, dedicated, have a keen eye for detail.

Desirable Skills

  • Driving licence to include 3.5t vans.
  • 5 years industry experience
  • Qualification or experience related to AV, live events or theatre production

Location: Bracknell, Berkshire. However, working all over the UK and oversea on events.

Hours: Office hours Monday to Friday, with flexible working and overtime as and when required.

Salary: £22,000 – £35,000 depending on experience and level.
